Days in Santiago
Spending an extra day is Santiago allowed us time to see those pgrims with whom we had walked and spent time with over the past 35 days.
O Pedrouzo to Santiago
The last day of the journey. We arrived at the cathedral grateful for safe trip that day, and every day. Feeling joyful, tired, overwhelmed.
Ribadiso to O Pedrouzo
Rainy walking, meeting friends, going with crowds were all part of our day today. We ended sharing wine with UK friends and a good night’s rest before our last day.
Palas de Rei to Ribadiso
Super-early start, drizzly rain most of the day, two good walking companions, and six rivers to cross. Plus a great dinner at the end if it.
Portomarin to Palas de Rei
Dale meets a new friend, a Knight Templar, and a herd of cows, on his journey under mostly cloudy skies. Diane is back on the road tomorrow.
Sarria to Portomarin
Dale walked bravely through the wind and rain, down steep declines, through more beautiful country! I caught a bad cold and decided it was best to keep my germs to myself!
Triacastela to Sarria
An exceptionally beautiful day walking through woodlands and small villages. Magnificent scenery all around us!
O’Cebreiro to Triacastela
Simply wonderful day, starting off under the stars and crescent moon, on country lanes over rolling hills and through forest paths.
